Dan, this is the kind of reporting you excel at.

This is exactly the kind of thing I like to see on Slog.

Am I the only one who started coming up with "MacArthur Park" parodies after seeing the subject title?

Someone left this note out in the rain
And it took so long to write it
I don't think that I can fight it
Since I'll never have that handwriting again ... Oh, no ...

@4: Hell no you weren't.

Some people can sure get nutty about little things when they're behind the wheel.

"ASSHOLE!!" maybe could have just taken a deep breath...or thought about those splendid Mexican mangoes (when they're in season).

Damn you @4, now I have Richard Harris' poncey English accent stuck in my head!

@7: It could have been worse. I had Donna Summer's voice stuck in mine.

You are not the only one, grammarcop....

And I don't know if I can fight it
cause it took so long to write it
and I'll never have this parking space again...

What does it say after "you could have just honked when you were" ?

Posted by Sakana | March 22, 2007 8:57 PM

"You could have just honked when you were next to me and I would have moved right away! ASSHOLE!!"

Yeah, what did happen? I just dont get it.

Posted by catnextdoor | March 22, 2007 9:31 PM

Yeah, kind of at a loss here. Can't think of a context where that kind of a note gets written on the street, crazy angry aside.

Posted by Sakana | March 22, 2007 9:41 PM

SUV pushes Insight out of a parking space? Or the recipient of the note blew up at the writer, and the writer didn't feel like responding immediately, in true passive-aggressive Seattle style?

Posted by Noink | March 22, 2007 10:03 PM

Stick to blow jobs.

Ah notes. Seattle is all about notes. In my new city way over here on the East Coast this kind of thing either gets reolved then and there or else doesn't even register...

i know i know "we're glad you left too.."

my guess is he got towed or some kind of hefty fine for a parking no-no.
