What matters is that special something that makes the little girls squeal, and Sanjaya appears to have it. The fact that boring old out-of-touch Celine-Dion-producing garbage bags like Simon Cowell don't like him is a huge plus, not a minus. Pissing off douchebags like Cowell is a PREREQUISITE for pop stardom. I think Sanjaya is punk as fuck and I hope he sells ten million records.

His singing isn't THAT bad. It's uninspired, and by no means great, but he can sing better than I can. A little lackluster, but he can carry a tune okay.

And I have to say I LOVE the hair. I'd vote for him just for having the balls to do a hair job like that on national TV, regardless of whether or not he can sing. It almost makes me want to grow my hair long again.

He actually isn't a bad singer, as evidenced by his audition. But he is an awkward performer. I think he is taking it and running with it. Last night was awesome!
