This woman's story is dubious. Confined yet public quarters, and she says NOTHING while being "spooned"? Are you reading Weekly World News again, Dan?

@1,

Wake the fuck up. Women have to deal with this shit from the time they hit puberty (and sometimes a few years before) until they hit menopause. Most women don't make a scene when they're physically harassed/groped/jostled. As a woman who always makes a fuss, I can attest that most bystanders (especially men) will look at the victim as if she's crazy or as if she's the one at fault.

"Excuse me, flight attendant, I didn't order mayo..."

How do you spoon on a plane? Was this in First class?

I think the guy should get something more than a misdemeanor charge. he should spend at least a night in jail while his cell mates get to cum all over him.

I'd be inclined to believe a woman who's back and chair were covered in spooge.

To #1: I take X-n-x on airplanes. Maybe she did too? Lots of people knock themselves out -- particularly on red-eyes -- and so, yeah, I can see not waking up while being spooned, or not realizing what was happening. I once had a conversation on an airplane with a guy in my sleep -- I thought I was talking to my boyfriend. That could've ended badly. Luckily, I woke up.

And, yeah, anyone who doesn't think women are subjected to unwelcome attention from opportunistic male creeps doesn't get out much, know any women, or read the papers.

I guess this guy's wishing he were in a guy flick where Cameron Diaz would giggle and put the offending chizzum in her hair.

Dan's point is that the two sentences are disproportionate.

But who said Florida law was supposed to be proportionate to Minnesota law? Wouldn't you have to look up what the sentence for the BJ would have been in Minnesota and what Florida would have given the, um, masher? Whatever they are called.

I'd look it up but I'm not sex expert with interns at my disposal.

Gentleman, if you must masterbate in public, please use the booths at the Lusty Lady.

BTW - is it illegal to whip it out in those booths?

@9, yes, that was the point, that the two sentences were wildly disproportionate.

First, I'm a bit surprised that the airline case wasn't a federal crime. If she was too zonked/drugged/asleep to really know what was going on until afterward, how do they even know over which state's airspace they were when the spooging took place?

Second, I once worked in a law enforcement related field. One of the depressing things was to see that there is really very little consistency or reason behind sentencing, despite the sentencing guidelines. Sentences often seemed to be based purely on the whim of the judge that day, which often was largely dependent on how recently he got laid or if he had the proper level of caffeine in his bloodstream.

How unfortunate for this woman to have boarded one of the few planes departing Seatac with male flight attendant who was, it would appear, at least bisexual.

was everyone on the plane unconcious?
he must have been a stealth wanker...or has an issue with premature ejaculation...

#1,
Are you kidding me? Just because she didn't notice someone was touching her means she was okay with this? Give me a break. Did it ever occur to you that she didn't know what to do and might not know how to deal with a situation like this? Yes, maybe YOU hear about this shit all the time, but it's not like it happens to the same person every time.
