Not Accurate

posted by on March 29 at 15:36 PM

More bad news for Gonzales:

“I don’t think the attorney general’s statement that he was not involved in any discussions about U.S. attorney removals is accurate,” the former Gonzales aide, D. Kyle Sampson, said under questioning at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

calling someone a troll is an easy way to try to dismiss someone's comment without actually discussing the issue on its merits. 99% of the time the person accusing someone else of being a troll is a total douche.

It's not that they LIE. It's that they cover it up, continue to LIE, and hide the illegal emails by Rove connected to it.

OK, it is a bit that they lie. And that they hate America.

I think it's kind of amazing they're getting this kind of flat contradiction from the people below AG. There's clearly a consensus that he's got "Titanic" on his forehead and everybody is trying to jump clear of the whirlpool.

The trouble with this scandal is that only half the American public has been paying any attention to it (and that hasn't budged in each of the two weeks).

At this point I'm beginning to wonder what it would actually take for Gonzalez to resign. Does he have to be caught sending salacious emails to underage male interns or something? Nothing else seems to cause a dent in the armor.
