Or better yet, check out Bliss Soaps - a local retailer - on broadway beside the deluxe.....
Lush is the shiz-nit. Love that stuff!
Lush is like the best-smelling crack den ever. It's physically impossible for me to leave without spending less than $30. When they opened one in Bellevue Square a couple years ago, it became the only reason to go there. Plus, all the ladies who work there are super-cute and friendly. Hopefully the Westlake ones are just as adorable.
I simply do not understand that store. In theory, I should be all over it, yet when I am there I can never find a single thing I like or even find remotely appealing. And they have been in EVERY major city I have ever lived in - so i walked past it a lot. I think it's because everything in there look too edible.
I was so happy when I could just drive to Bellevue instead of always stocking up in British Columbia.
But who needs to go to Bellevue when I can just walk Downtown on my lunch break.
Has anyone else noticed that Westlake is slowly beginning to come back with some great stores to check out?
It's true: Westlake is interesting again. I was also delighted to find the new basement-level Japanese $1.50 store Daiso; like a micro vacation to Osaka.
Daiso has me drooling with anticipation, but I'm over Lush. Those poor girls who work there probably can't taste their food anymore. Too stinky, and too expensive. A few dollops of bubblebath and a snifter of whisky, that's all Fnarf needs in his nightly bath.
Lush works for me because all Jessica needs in her nightly bath is a bath bomb and a bottle of champagne. Plastic cup optional.
edit: bottle of CHEAP champagne.
