The show airing tonight is from the tour. It includes Sarah Vowell, David Rakoff, and our own Dan Savage (with a special guest). I went to the live taping, it was entertaining and fun--with great music by Mates of State. The theme is What I Learned from TV, a topic close to my heart. I suppose maybe they'd be tempted to use the Seattle version of Savage's bit, just to get maximum crowd delirium or whatever, but if you're editing together a show you're going to use the best takes -- unless there's some Public Radio mandate to throw a bone to every city, or something.
