Live From CPAC

posted by on March 4 at 13:27 PM

A reporter from The Nation—Max Blumenthal—takes us behind the scenes at CPAC, the conservative conference where Coulter called Edwards a faggot. It’s great stuff. Gotta love his short exchange with Michelle Malkin and his interview with, er, a black Republican. And be sure to catch Blumenthal’s follow-up question for Coulter.

That was priceless.

It's rich that Horowitz thinks the left wants to kill conservatives. That must be why there have been so many conservative bashings in the news recently and horrifying stories of people beaten to death with metal pipes for being conservative. Oh wait. . .

CPAC is reprehensible.

688 days to go.

Man, what a bunch of card-carrying pigs. Even Hillary or Obama-o-rama should be able to beat anybody these assholes promote.

#2: It's not too hard to understand that Horowitz would think that - it's projection at its finest, you see. The American right has been edging towards rhetoric about "eliminating" liberals for years now.

Have all of you been helping John Edwards raise Colter cash? It is the only way to ensure v-i-c-t-o-r-y.

I don't exactly know what Edwards will do with the money he raises or how that bold move on his part will effect Ann Colter, but that is "off topic."

The point is - it only ever is - that the only path to true success and victory in this lifetime is to elect and support Democrats. Don't criticize. No thinking. Just write the damn check.

It's terrible what they say about them faggots, ain't it? $100.

How sad is that Latina woman Max interviews? She looks like she's one more speech away from voting Democratic for the rest of her life.

And you gotta love the guy covering up his Confederate flag lapel pin. The dude doesn't have the courage of his own prejudices.

Brilliant video. The patriot in me says that 2006 was the beginning of a long and humiliating plunge for these bozos.

Now go see "The Lives of Others", a well done reminder that totalitarianism is/was more of a threat to American values than terrorism.

This is my honest fantasy of what I would like to do to Ann Coulter. I would first like to make out with her, therefore turning her gay. Then, I would like to beat her with a metal pole. Her own supporters would have to back my assasination!

I will agree with Anne Coulter on one point, Max is "a good lookin' fella."

after her assasination you forgot to tell us about licking up all the blood or fucking the dead body

your post is deranged and stupid and very violent, assuming you are progressive, repulsive as well

you have become her ... it worked

While the bit about her failed engagements was cute and somewhat clever, keeping in mind what she had just said about Edwards she should have had something more blatant thrown in her face; something along the lines of making her justify her really unsettling Man-hands, or speaking on the record about that bit of an adam's apple she sports...

687 days and a wakeup to the end of our long national nightmare, as the anti-American Red Bushies are sent back into the wilderness for more than 40 years.

Enough.

hmmm.... come to think of it, has anyone ever seen Dan Savage and Ann Colter in the same room?

@14:

No, but then again would you really expect to?

Besides, Dan in drag is still a lot better looking than Coulter in last night's cocktail dress.

Just saw this bit of whitewashing of CPAC on the Newsweek portion of MSNBC:

Conservatism's Fresh Face - Howard Fineman

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17470271/site/newsweek/

It drives me crazy when the MSM provides a platform for neo-cons to try to pretend that they are nice and inclusive. I don't see one mention of Coulter or the fact that Romney was endorsed, and kiss the butt of, Coulter. I e-mailed complaints.

Videos like these make me feel like the Federal Government should have let the Confederacy go on their own. Then, whenever fuckheads like those previously viewed conservatives showed their faces, we could send 'em back to their own shitty country.

In any event, was Max really trying to get that guy to say "preserve white culture"? That made him look like a shitstain to a lot of people, I'm sure. I work with stupid white corporate folks who could easily be swayed either way because they believe EVERYTHING TV tells them. I know if they saw that video, thats all they'd remember: How the liberal reporter looked like shitstain. This is the general problem with the masses in the middle, they don't see how retarded the CPAC folks are, in fact, they may relate in some ways.

Anyway, lets not just think the Dems are gonna win in '08 and then we can party. It is going to take DECADES to try to undo all the shit the Bush/Cheney Administration are committing. Our kids are gonna be cleaning it up for fucks sake. Lets not let these far-leaning-right-wing knuckleheads stand in our way.
