We gave them freedom from Saddam then they went nuts and started killing everyone so fuck em let them swing in the breeze.

civil war is/was inevitable once we took out saddam, whether we stay or not. we might as well extricate ourselves from this mess, let them get on with it w/out our blood and money.

Polls show large number of Iraqis support attacks on US troops AND want US troops to stay until the country in secured. Uh, the problem is the Iraqis are crazy. Not to say we wouldn't be as well if we had been through what they've been through the past 20 years, but still, crazy.
