Iraqis Want Us Out In?

posted by on March 19 at 16:18 PM

Against the war. Against the occupation. Against premature withdrawal.

Not a contradiction.

No. And not interesting. Of course the factions we support and that thus support us would like us to remain. Duh. What else would they want.

Hearing that someone wanted a hand up one's ass would be somewhat strange unless you knew they were a puppet.

So... they voted "No, no, and hell no?"

Can we leave tomorrow?

We gave them freedom from Saddam then they went nuts and started killing everyone so fuck em let them swing in the breeze.

civil war is/was inevitable once we took out saddam, whether we stay or not. we might as well extricate ourselves from this mess, let them get on with it w/out our blood and money.

OK, so, you pull a drowning man from a river with a thorny vine. Then you tie him to a tree with said vine. Then, you leave him there and go home.

That's what immediate pullout would be like. Unfortunately.

Polls show large number of Iraqis support attacks on US troops AND want US troops to stay until the country in secured. Uh, the problem is the Iraqis are crazy. Not to say we wouldn't be as well if we had been through what they've been through the past 20 years, but still, crazy.

kinaidos - Hope you didn't hyperextend your knee, jerking it like that.

If you had done the reading, you'd know that those aren't the puppets.

Those were the dissidents.
