How Was It?

posted by on March 30 at 16:51 PM

Kelly O. and I will be out and about this weekend with our vid camera and microphone asking Seattle week-enders the $64,000 question: “How Was It?”

Be prepared for us as you’re leaving the rock show, restaurant, play, dance performance, concert, reading, … bushes.

Here’s what happened the first time we gave you the mic.

You'd think an "important" news editor, who is supposedly interested in the common wo/man, would interview people leaving a day-care center, Seattle Center, an auto body shop, the unemployment office, the ferry terminal etc etc etc. Then again they're aren't as photo ready as the nigh...lowlife scene. It's all entertainment for you Josh, isn't it?

So someone interested in politics and Olympia and Very Important Issues isn't allowed to be interested in anything else? Or have fun? Ever? Or run around town with Kelly O. once in a while? Once in the salt mines, always in the salt mines?

Stop abusing my middle name, keenan.

"Or have fun? Ever? Or run around town with Kelly O. once in a while?"

um, Dan, the things i mentioned can apply to fun, happiness, contentment, whatever. josh is just out of touch with the democrat ideals that the party proposes.

you're defence actually feels like you have to spend umpteen dollars for a couple hours of small appetizers, super loud music, and performance culture where You are the star, searching for seat, hmmmm, the ticket stub, aisle f, seat 12, exuse me, sorry, hmmpf, ah, MY seat.

i have no problem with kelly o. she could go to funeral and ask questions and i'd probably laugh. have a good one.

What's to prepare? The answer is automatic: "It sucked" Applies to pretty much everything in Seattle. And doubly so to every comment in this thread not posted by Dan.

(And before somebody tells me to move: I've lived other places. They all sucked too. Seattle may actually suck a little less, but that's not anything to get excited about.)

totally, I can just imagine the wide range of responses when "how was it?" sets up shop outside the unemployment office! thrill a minute, I'm sure.

What a bunch of crusty old bastards! The interviews outside the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival were fucking hysterical. Keep it coming, Josh!
