Today Gosling's fictional charcter was thoroughly one-upped by John Accera, a real-life middle-school principal in Pennsylvania who was not only arrested for possessing and selling meth, but was found naked in his office watching gay pornography with a collection of sex toys nearby at the time of arrest.
