I was in Olympia yesterday for the rally and meetings with our legislators to urge them to pass the domestic partnership, marriage equality, and comprehensive sex ed bills.

I'm no expert on crowd control, but I'd say there were maybe 1500 to 2000 people on the steps of the Capitol, plus 8 "Christian" protestors screaming that we're ah-gonna fry in hay-ell, and yet I can't find a single word about it on Slog or either of the dailies.

One of my reps mentioned that they've received thousands of e-mails against these bills and nearly zero in favor.

I was talking to my mailman today, and he was genuinely surprised that my partner and I can't get married. If we expect our reps and senators to pass these bills, a little positive news coverage would be helpful.
