Your comment about Lieberman is just about as short-sighted as your comments about the Viaduct.

You know on Lieberman: I am not happy with his blind support of the President but that was just on the issue of the war. I thought we could at least tolerate him since he was suppose to be a Democrat and in the Senate. But if he is even thinking about switching parties he may as well just go.

Regarding retardation: that explains why the gays love that Runway show so much.

ECB and Andrew,
It's not as simple as saying "just go," even if that's what we'd like to say. It's a matter of the Dems losing control of the Senate.

Joe would be a great addition to the party of Lincoln. In fact, a Giuliani-Lieberman pairing for 2008 would make the dems pretty nervous.

Proud Gay Republican @ 6,

Why is it that everything you write makes me vomit?

If Lieberman switches from "Independent" to Republican it isn't going to effect the way he votes now. He is pretty conservative as it is.

Gabriel is correct. It doesn't matter how he votes, it matters WHO CONTROLS THE FUCKING SENATE. Do the words "Senate Majority Leader" mean anything to you?

Re: Stomach churning squalor in NY

How disgusting! Why can't these people store their shit and piss in the freezer like everyone else?

And the female chimps were hunting BUSH BABIES! The cutest animal on the face of the planet. Truly, tool-makers are murderous she-devils.

Regarding Lieberman switching parties: Actually, it might not change who controls the Senate. Explanation why here.

TSM @ 12 - I think I just read the same thing.

EVERYONE RELAX - the leadership won't change at this point. If Lieberman defects the current Democratic leadership structure remains in place. The committees will still be chaired by Dems, and Reid will still be Majority Leader.

Besides he said he'd do it only if they vote to cut funding - I don't see the Senate Dems actually going ahead and doing that.

LMFAO As an American who lives in Canada I'd just like to say that Americans need to quit freaking out about "Canadian BSE" aka MAD COW disease. If there are ANY cows afflicted with BSE in Canada there are JUST as many if not MORE in the U.S.
The Beef industries of Canada & the U.S. are intertwined like lovers and the animals have been going back & forth across the border FOREVER.(My father-in-law is a beef cattle farmer with a fairly large herd.)

Furthermore, the USDA is quite likely covering-up the fact that BSE & the Prion Diseases are EVERYWHERE. Which isn't hard considering most Canadians and Americans don't have the foggiest fucking idea what the disease actually is and does.

lieberman always looked like a character from "alice iin wonderland" to me, meaning: cartoonishly ugly. and that's the nicest thing i'm inclined to say about him. i agree with andrew @3--just let him go. get off my side, joe. the dems don't need any more "republican lite" candidates in the party. i mean, how well has that worked for the dems?--if a voter likes republican, why not just vote for the real thing, right?

Actually, the Dept of Agriculture has proposed a rule that would significantly lessen importation standards of cows and various cow parts from Canada. The rule is under APHIS-2006-0041-0001 in the Federal Register (feel free to comment if you so choose - this part of "the process" works for you. Just put something more thought-provoking than the "I like cows!" contributor managed to do.) The rule authors actually refer to the recent cases of Canadian BSE as anomalies that are considered "statistically negligible" in the passing of this new rule. Hmmm, because obviously no one cares about the occasional mad cow...

It may just be sharp, pointy sticks now, but it is only a matter of time before those chimps get their hands on a nuclear device. We need a pre-emeptive strike!

Next they will be waging war.
