I found the USA Today article on gay teens coming out to be very informative.

One surprise: Who would have guessed that the Great Lakes states (MI, MN, WI, IL, etc) are the most homophobic after the Great Plains States (ND, SD, IA, NE, etc)? I thought the South would be the most backward.
