Comments on The Contenders: Tom Tancredo
Does anyone else see the ridiculousness of the following statements from the post:
"Congressman Tom Tancred...has led the fight to deport every undocumented worker in America. He also proposes calling a halt to all immigration— legal and otherwise"
Then this: "Tancredo was born in Denver, Colorado, the grandson of Italian immigrants"
WTF? So its ok for his grandparents to be immigrants, but not for anyone else? Fucking double standard republicans!
There is no double standard. There is a historical average for immigration into this country.Americans get to decide who gets in and
the amount of people at any one time. Right now
we have the highest Ever! We also have a social
safety net-hospitals,welfare,schools. Do you really want to crush the entire system! Alot of our modern society was not here when this guys granparents came here. Do you think illegal immigration is a problem? No? I suppose you expect to let everyone in! You need to google "ellis island" You will see how we regulated and restricted the italians coming in.
