Thers already a shit storm brewing over this one.

People need to relax and enjoy it. this is not the newest shockingest movie to come out of hollywood either. Man are we that full of anxiety when a Blackman can act or be near a half naked white women. Have we not overcome our fears.

Rotten Tomatoes has better Reviews I would go there for a judgement call on this film. It is art that is put forth very well. It may be there to spook your taboo thinking , so do a lot of other films... except those other films have to be all sensitive visually which make them suck. This ditches the sentimental crap, for raw , edgy, deep southern Blues philosophizin and is basically a modern day fairy tale reprisenting real emotions and, attitudes , and yes white girls can be half nude next to Black men in a movie, without it seeming like they are being pimped in the storyline. This movie breaks that stereotype, and if it doesn't then america hasn't gotten over those taboo fears like it should. Read the plotlines, see the reviews at Rotten tomatoes, and open your minds. This is nitty gritty theater in the vain of Streetcar named Desire and like Liz Taylor, Christina is going to be awesome playing a role like that. Sorry she's not playing a goody goody nurse for your wishes, good people.
That said theres still going to be a shitstorm caused by this film, which is a shame.
