Because I'm an idiot. I left the show thinking about Harris's performance, and even talked about it with friends right afterward, but when I sat down to write the review, I focused on other things. Again, because I'm an idiot. Also because, as I was writing the review, I got to thinking that, well, it isn't that hard to play an effeminate, Victorian-England-obsessed, bed-and-breakfast-running, whalebone-corset-wearing gay man. But you know what? Harris gave the character a lot more than almost...
