Pro-lifers won't care as you're talking about beasts god put on the Earth under our domain.

I would like to see Jeppesen hammered in the Seattle press about this. They ran every detail of the torture flights. This shit needs to see the light of day. I wonder if the threat of a trade war would work, barring companies from buying Boeing jets, not as a means of supporting Airbus but just to force some people to talk publicly about torture.

@1, I agree. I doubt you'll find many pro-lifers who are also vegetarians.

Re: Snickers. Can somebody help me understand why the gays were so upset about the snickers ad? The way I saw it, it was really making fun of male homophobia. These guys were willing to rip their own chest hair out so that the other wouldn't think they were gay. Pretty much a parody of how insecure straight guys are.

What am I missing? (I'm really not being sarcastic here, I really want to know...)

Mike in MO you missed the Snicker's website that got taken down. The extras on the website are what got everyone's tighty whitey's in a bunch.

@6. Read the comments from the last two days on here.
Nutshell: there were 3 other versions, one involving violence.
also, there were nfl players shown reacting in disgust to the commercial, showing homophobia in their capacity as role models.

The egg thing is making me feel a little sick. I hope that people don't start killing the chickens specifically for their "immature" eggs.

I grew up with chickens in our backyard. We didn't eat them but we ate and sold the eggs. The grossest thing was when we'd crack an egg and there would be a half formed baby chick. I learned never to crack an egg directly into my dish, always put it in a side bowl. Who wants that in their cake batter?

Easiest way not to get a baby bird in your cake batter: Kill your roosters.

@8: I'm really glad that I'm not the only one grossed out by the "embryonic eggs" or whatever... Ewwww- they seriously give me the heeby-jeebies!

Jesus, Laterite, you've put me off my feed. "A balut (or Hột vịt lộn in Vietnamese) is a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell.". With pictures. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut

Fnarf and Laterite: That is the nastiest thing I've seen in a very long time.
