The story on the astronaut is the best. Wore diapers to conduct a kidnapping of a fellow astronaut involved in a love triangle and took several implements to torture or kill her rival with? Priceless.

One of the other programs being cut besides "drug courts, prison rape prevention, and community policing"? Cannabis eradication. Guess even this cloud has a silver lining....

I am still waiting for one of the arena supporters to produce an economic study showing how these monstrosaties bring more money into the communities they build them in than what it costs to build and maintain them.

But I am waiting in vain. Any economist worth her/his worth in salt knows that they never bring in more money than they take. The Economist has done several articles about this fact over the past few years the most recent was attacking Washington DC for the staduim they wanted to build (with tax dollars) for a new baseball team.

So Senator Payday Loan just proves she is controlled by corporate interests and passes out that corporate welfare. She probably gives head to President Bush too.

Maybe Prentice can get Moneytree to lend $500 million to the Sonics for their arena on a 2 week term.

Heck, it could shut her up about both topics..

Just say no to Sonics subsidies. Tell Margarita we'll shut up about payday loans if she gets us the Storm for free and ships the Sonics to Sandpoint, Idaho.
