The commenters on Line Out make some valid points, however, considering that the bulk of tickets are sold via online or telephone consolidators such as TicketMaster, Tickets West, Brown Paper Tickets, etc., etc. it probably makes sense to list both the actual ticket price AND the inflated price at the highest amount, pretty much like what most venues do when they have a range - list the high-end and low-end, and most people will understand what that means.
Now, if the the law also made it mandatory that tickets purchased at the venues themselves had to be sold for the base ticket price, things would be grand.

I love this plan.
Good idea!
