heres my theory: cuz no one in seattle cares about sports. and those that do probably think that goatees and 3/4 length leather jackets are still cool (yes im talking to you microbeer guzzling sonic fans). here's a solution to world financial problems: stop paying grown men billions of $ to throw a ball around. we did that in jr high. now you're grown up. donate the $ to schools and our health care. it's time people stop sitting on their overweight asses and start doing things that matter.

So I assume that brad never watches movies, concerts, goes to galleries, etc? Entertainment is entertainment, get over it.

To the point, I think that even though he's having his best season, people are wary of him becoming a 3x MVP, thus he's not getting as much love as before. Maybe? Or maybe he just can't match Kobe's swag. Swag being the new measure of prowess for the 06-07 season, of course.

Obviously this dude's hair is a major problem. It seems to be either at that awkward in-between stage like he's growing it out OR he's got some weird rooster cut going on.

In either case, he's never going to win Western Conference All-Star King until the hair situation is resolved.

Because he's Canadian and anti-war.

maybe i should re-phrase: sports $, as well as entertainment in general (i.e. tix prices for bands like U2) has gotten so entirely out of hand that it frustrates me to no end. however, i realize this may not be the forum for this, but when i see the stranger (a culture mag)taking on espn-like subjects i tend to get fired up. you may now carry on talking about names i know nothing about. sorry to bum you out.

It's arguments like these that make me glad I'm eventually going to be dead and can stop trying to figure this shit out. Surely there's a game on tv somewhere this weekend.

@5 - that was not a hair question!

Possibly because he doesn't dunk and those that vote for the All-Star game prefer watching vicious dunks to pretty passes. Nash can't complain though - he's probably gotten a little too much love from sportswriters.

Maybe because tmac and kobe are also amazing, and there's only spots for two guards?

Because he is a self proclaimed socialist that was against the war from the beginning. He went to antiwar rallies way back in 2003. “You can not bad mouth the war boy, this is America, even the Gays(Dan Savage) support this war.”
