Pflug is, to be polite, not the sharpest tack in the box, and that's saying something. She shares constituents with Glen Anderson from the House, who may be even duller.

As far as ethics in her case: Feh! I've never known her to display ethics nor scruples.

Josh,

You should ask Sen. Pflug why it is that drug companies purchase all these gifts, if they don't affect prescriptions.

If that's the case, investors in drug companies should get together a giant class-action lawsuit for the frivolous waste of their money on gifts for doctors.

Perhaps the government should recover some of their expenditures, since they're ultimately reflected in higher drug prices?

The only "negative add" would be to Pflug re-election campaign chest...

thanks for exposing that--it's amazing how pathetic our elected officials can be.

Dude, you missed your chance to note that Gombo is a former D House member (from Spokane area ) who now lobbies for PHARMA. Given the Democrats' emphasis on health care and its rising costs, you might have wondered aloud why he has this client now instead of working on behalf of constituents or of higher education, his previous jobs. Ask around the campus. His moral compass has been de-magnetized before.
