This is great news. And to anyone who says, "Oh, great, just what the Dems need, someone that the Right can paint as a Hollywod limousine liberal..." you don't know what you're talking about.

Spend eight minutes of your time and watch Franken's announcement video. He's not Jane Fonda or Michael Moore.

And Norm Coleman is a douchebag.

but Thompson was in the Senate before he was on Law & Order.

either way, I fear that a pretend NYC district attorney is a better candidate that Stuart Smalley (even though he's good enough, smart enough, and people like him).

Al Franken is a narcissistic fool. He may have been funny one time in the '70s and one time in the '80s, but he's terrible now. I mean, I know Norm Coleman is no better, but god damn, i fucking HATE Franken. He represents everything that's wrong with Democrats.

I urge anyone who thinks he's not a terrible, vapid douche chill to see the documentary "Al Franken: God Spoke" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0799916/)

Sean,

No wonder you don't work for The Stranger any longer.

Those words alone would have been enough for me to fire you.

So Truthseeker, you would favor censorship because he does not agree with you? I am assuming you are a republican.

He's been threatening that a long time. Back when I still lived there, it came up. It doesn't seem that strange after electing Ventura to office.

Andrew, you dumb fuck, in the context of a newspaper it isn't called "censorship"; it's called "editing".
