But, with iTunes, music taste become expansive. Where 95% of your music may be hipster-approved, in a library of 4000 songs, you're likely to have the flexibility to appreciate a few misfits here and there, to find common threads between that which you are supposed to like that than which you do like.

I argue this with friends all the time; an iTunes managed music collection is much more interesting as a result.

Hipsters, take your small-minded collections and play elsewhere. :-)
