I can't wait to see D'Souza self-implode at the hands of Colbert!
It's 1:30am here in Boston and I am staying up for it!!! THANKS!
AWESOME!
Speaking of awesome, Obama declared! Well, practically: http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/16/obama.papers/index.html
That. Was. Awesome.
That guy was f***ing idiot.
OK, he said that FDR "gave away" Eastern Europe at Yalta. Yeah, right, he "gave away" the land that was occupied by the USSR or was about to be. That says everything about this twerp's intellect.
Oh, wait, he just said something about "blue America" and "eating maggots..."
Sorry, it was more fun watching Spock and Sulu on the Daily Show tonight ...
That was utterly fantastic and completely worth being tired tomorrow. Colbert just handed him his logical fallacies on a platter.
The best was at the very end, after the interview when they cut to the distant-shot in the studio -- Colbert tries to shake his hand, and D'Souza totally pulls away. Knew he was beaten.
We did it, all our terror problems are our fault?!! It's begining people. The madison ave total awarness campain is here. Barara Boxer can use herself as an example and include Condi Rice as an example of TWO people that won't be affected personally by the war. And all the right wants to twist and bloviate about Boxer's comment being an attack on childless single women! Absurd! Trivial!! Here we go again, the madison avenue style sell the war ( and a new one with Iran ), and blame the Democrats. This is the beginning, they have the Corporate media machine to shove whatever twisted spin on events they want, real or imaginary.
At least we have the internet, and word of mouth.
I have a pen and pencil, so I draw progressive cartoons in an attempt to share the progressive side of political cartooning that has very few outlets.
(the right side has many) Check out my Condi, Augmentation cartoon at my website...

I just downloaded it from iTunes and can hardly wait to see it! This guy attacks FDR??!!! I want to find him and kick his AS*!!!! No one attacks my political hero without a fight on their hands!!! "Four more for FDR!!"
The videos are up at the Comeday Central website.
It's amazing that this guy is a Stanford fellow. It's one thing hearing it from a loser like Falwell, quite another coming from someone who should be educated and who is associated with a distinguished institution.
I just watched it and died laughing on the bus on the way into work. Colbert completely used the guys own logic to make him look like an idiot. And the right wing talking heads need to start bringing up that the sinking of the Lusitania was Woodrow Wilson's fault. I mean Wilson was a Democrat.
These idiots like D'Souza I would love to just laugh at but they control too much of the country not to take seriously. BTW, 9/11 happened while GEORGE BUSH was the President. Just in case the Republicans forgot that little fact....
It may be time to introduce another new right wing loon-inspired word into the language - the verb "to d'souza." Definition: to eat maggots at a gay wedding.
Finally I got to see Dan Savage on Colbert too. He didn't eat maggots though.

Colbert's a Genius! The American Taliban was exposed for what it is. These freaks want a theocracy just like the Saudis. Colbert made him say the words!
“The American slave was treated like property, which is to say, pretty well.” (from D’Souza’s book, The End of Racism)
“If America as a nation owes blacks as a group reparations for slavery, what do blacks as a group owe America for the abolition of slavery?” (from The End of Racism)
More here.
BTW, instead of combing YouTube you can get caught up with Colbert (and The Daily Show) at Comedy Central

The Hoover Institution at Stanford has been the source for most of Bush's closest foreign policy and economic advisors. The irony of their name is awesome! Stanford is neo-con breeding ground. Condi Rice is a Fellow. http://www.hoover.org/
I am in total shock after folling Joe @18's link. I had no idea how bad D'Souza was from the Colbert interview. It makes me really angry that he could be published by a "respectable" publisher.
Gawd, that man is a genius. A couple more interviews like that and I'm gonna make him my babydaddy instead of Stewart.
The interview was priceless, thanks for the heads up. Thon Hartman had him on his Tuesday show on Air America, he laid into him as well, however Colbert really delivered the knock-out punch.
