Dear Diary,

Today I heard that Fox is cancelling the O.C. Oh my God! I'm sooooooo bummed.

I hope Ben McKenzie gets another show real soon so I can still send him photos of me naked pasted next to him, like we're married and in love.

Remember when he wrote to me and told me to stop? God, he's so funny! I LOVE BEN MCKENZIE!!!!!! EEEEEEE!!!!!

i can't believe they killed it just when it was becoming fun to watch again. but i guess that doesn't really excuse the past 2 seasons of suck.

The show's first season was quite promising, but it went downhill quickly with the start of season two.

And, if only a little bit, the world is now a better place.

I couldn't stand Taylor at first, but she grew on me. I hope Autumn Reeser has a long career of her. And I'm sorry FOX cut the episode order down to 16. That isn't even a full season.

Praise the Lord! Ever since about the second season, I stopped watching the OC - the only reason I stuck around so long was Seth and his hot brunette obsession ...

That said, I'm far more worried about the moral decay in our country from One Tree Hill, and people with two middle names, and how young teens like my 14 year old nieces are obsessed with this show which treats immorality, murder, and mind games as being normal family life - I know they live in Santa Barbara, but they made my son and I watch the entire last season on DVD ...

Why can't they all be nice clean adults like on Grey's Anatomy or Lost?

Will, my dear, you've been missing out. Season 4 has been a return to Season 1 hilarity now that the writers and other actors no longer have to try and carry Mischa Barton's dead-fish-like performances.
