As much as I want the city to pay for the violations that they commited during the riots it will come at the cost of other services. Instead of suing I think the officers in question should be fired and face criminal charges.

And honestly, do any of us really think Bush is suddenly going to change how he will deal with Iraq? The man fires anyone who disagrees with him (or they resign to "spend more time with their families"). The Democrats may try to put presure on him but ultimately we need a new President before we will leave Iraq. Enjoy the next two years!

Why did we have to go to Mars and destroy something before we new what we were doing. Those poor little microbes didn't want our water poored on their heads and they got overheated and drowned. Thats fucked up. Martian microbes are starting an Martian insurgency and Declared an Martian National emergency.
We must pull out of Mars now. Will the United Nations step in on behalf of Mars. Didn't we learn nothing from old Star Trek episodes--- you make sure you do not harm the environment you are a stranger to before landing.
Viva la martian Revolution. Say no to Nasa occupation of Mars.

Bush's "new" Iraq plan could be devised with telepathic assistance from beyond the grave from Churchill, Lincoln, and Jesus Christ, but it will still fail because it will be executed by the administration of George Bush.

Seattle cops behaved with admirable restraint in the face of outrageous provocation during the WTO riots. In fact, I'd like to see the people bringing these complaints nightsticked a little more today just for good measure. All charges should be dismissed.

The smell in NYC is probably just someone's really heinous Jersey Hogie brought on a PATH train.

Still, I can't help but be reminded of the old chemical and biological warfare tests the US military did in the 1950's and 1960's. They'd release a traceable chemical or radioactive isotope at various points in major US cities to figure out the most effective ways of deploying the weapons.

I predict the "new plan" is just the old plan, with extra dead troops and even LARGER debt for every single American.

Bush on Mars 2004! And send Cheney with him.

i find it interesting that a bishop who assisted communist state police had the stones to step down, but a pope that was a member of the hitlerjugend found no issue with his past.

antichrist! antichrist!
