Muhammad Ali turned 65 today. To celebrate, here’s footage of Ali introducing George Foreman to the canvas during the “Rumble in the Jungle.”

A wonderful reason to go to Scarecrow (or your netflix list) and rent When We Were Kings, one of the best sports documentaries ever made. I don't even like boxing, and I loved this movie. If you are too young to have seen Ali in his prime, see this. You'll understand why there was no hyperbole in calling him "The Greatest"

Weird that the announcer keeps asserting that "there was no phantom punch"--did the shadow of that Liston knockout still follow Ali what, 15 years later? I guess so.
