Creepy image, indeed! There was a fascinating report on NPR last night about sex offenders in US prisons.

"Experts say it's the only crime that offenders are more likely to repeat with age. The result has been an explosion in the number of elderly men behind bars."

You are the one that is sick to post this and rile up the masses. ;-)
There is nothing wrong with that image even though some people in power positions abuse those relationships.
Next Slog post please.

I have had ENOUGH of you Liberals who think you can twist our Nation's most sacred holiday to feed your sexually deviant urges. My family and I had a truly wonderful holiday without worrying about Santa getting too close to young girls with stethoscopes. To shame, Charles. Go back WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!

Project much, Charles?

I can't believe no one saw this before printing and said, " this might look a bit creepy." WTF?!?!

Huh, I always thought July 4th was our nation's "most sacred" holiday.

And don't even get me started on that creepy "Uncle Sam".

"most sacred holiday?" All pervy-santa speculation aside, what about that image, in its intended innocence is "sacred?"

a santa is a santa is a santa

dirty minds are always seeing smut where others do not

I blame the lack of moral fiber where it belongs - on the President and others of his ilk.

Oh, it's fine. Santa has a wedding ring on.

There's nothing seriously wrong with this picture.

Unseriously? Plenty wrong. It's boring, WASPy, and unimaginative.

Bigger Santa or smaller child.

(Don't want to think what this photographer's wedding shoots look like.)

But - aspersions to aging aside - sometimes a girl sitting on Santa's lap is just a girl sitting on Santa's lap.

#6:

I'm sorry if you're "creeped out" by your country's patriotic images. Maybe the Sunnis can find a new one for you?

And by the way: We have been celebrating Jesus and his Love much longer than we have celebrated our nation's independence, still a worthy cause.

and santa has what to do with jesus and his love ?

Wow, Frederick R, I had hoped your original comment was an attempt at humor. I forgot that there's nothing funny about Jesus. Or patriotism. Or bigots.

Thanks for the reminder!

I'm confused, I thought Santa was just Jesus after he got old.

Jesus and Santa in a pose. But we need to be asking who would be the top and who would be the bottom?

That is awful, dude. Suspicion of all adult male - child contact is one of the sicko things about American culture that made me move to Mexico.

And no doubt someone will twist that comment into making me look like I WANT a certain immoral type of contact, which is further proof of your sickness, America.

@ 18 -- Though in Mexico a 40+yr old guy can plainly walk around with his 15-17ish yr old girlfriend.

Santa looks a little guilty in that pic. "What? I, I'm not doing anything."

i just don't like that santa's hand is on her upper thigh. they could have taken the picture, and not have had his hand where it doesn't belong.
