Obviously Brendan not been out of the US, let alone Seattle all that much.

I'm guessing Brendans gonna came back to the Strangers office sporting a whole new accent and refer to this trip as having "lived" abroad.

Every transoceanic passenger jet flight sends as much carbon-based pollution into the atmosphere as the average European does in a year heating her family's residence and driving around. Thanks for changing the world, Brendan. But hey, vote for more Sound Transit taxes next November - that'll help assuage your guilt.

Is it the entire plane that uses that much energy, or is the energy use divided up by passenger?
