That's really cool. To be able to be in controlled flight like that is really complicated without control surfaces.

John,

Yeah, that's a major accomplishment - nobody's tried that since DC-X several years back, and at a much lower altitude than this.

But, is this thing intended to be Single Stage To Sub-Orbital? Now, THAT would be REALLY cool!

I have watched that video a few times and no amount of dry ice spewing out a hole as an excuse for fuel can make me believe it flew and then landed on those IKEA table legs. The video is soooo crappy. What ever happened to proper documentation with multiple video cameras instead of a landing that looks like it is on a fake planet set with bad editing and shaky cameras.
Bad documentation if you ask me. don't they have HD video.

Bezos hasn't spent dime one of his billions on making this planet a better place to live unlike Gates. Screw him.

Just Sayin',

I understand your point, but at least Bezos is working (somewhat) toward giving us a way to get off this planet after the plutocrats get through despoiling it to the point of environmental collapse.

Although of course you'll probably have to be as rich as a plutocrat to afford the ticket...
