Last year, I submitted a valentine online, ONE MONTH before the deadline, and the day they came out I got an email saying "Sorry! We ran out of room in the print edition. But you can still see it online." (which isn't nearly as cool.)
So it seems to me that submitting ahead of time doesn't do diddly squat.
I'm just ticked off cause it was such a kickass valentine.
