Maybe the worst film to receive a national release, ever - a work has to aspire to something in order to be truly atrocious. Shame that it gives away (sort of) the plot of the original, which is a stone classic. That stuff with the bees wasn't in the theatrical version. Don't rent it, it's not even funny-bad. Now you have seen all the laughably ridiculous parts, the rest is just torture. The thing is, there is something to be said about the power of women and of society actually in many regards considering the female of the species as superior, (for instance, why is a girl's coming-of-age - the egg releasing through menstruation - thought of as natural and normal but a boy's - the sperm demanding its freedom through masturbation - as perverse and shameful?) but it has never been said more stupidly than in this piece of crap. For that matter nothing like that is said in the film, it is just a compendium of juvenile gynophobia with no mythic voltage whatsoever. To put it mildly. God, I really hate this movie, huh?
