I agree, loosing a few journalists really wouldn't be a big deal.
#1, only if they work for Fox News
bush has already murdered hundreds of thousands more iraqis than sadam hussein, and journalists don't care about that. would they even report it if bush murdered a couple dozen of their own? maybe if the white house held a press conference and kept repeating a word they could use in headlines, like a "surge" of journalist manslaughter or how he "cut and ran over" the press corps?
that said, is bush parodying himself here?
#2, or if they work for the Stranger. Oh, wait... they're not journalists.
I still fail to understand why people who think the Stranger is not worth their time spend their time (a) reading it and (b) insulting it.
BOINK the NOINK!
I never hear the late Don Walser get mentioned outside of Texas. He was so, so great, and a huge man with a huge benificence like the Dalai Lama, plus he could yodel to make you want to run around and break shit. His regular gig at Jovita's (a restaurant in Austin run by a formerly jailed radical Latino activist) week after week helped me find the country fan within, 'before country was cool'. And seeing him open for the Butthole Surfers was trippier than anything that band threw up on the screen behind them for the following two hours. The kind of music that can help you forget, for a few minutes, that there even IS a man named George W. Bush.
R.I.P., Don.
You know, where I come from, we jail people for a few years for such things.
But maybe in Bushland the Fuhrer is above the law ...
Is there any footage of this?
Keshmeshi, your loose/lose joke was wasted on these Philistines.
Journalists, in general, are a bunch of corporately controlled muppets. From both sides of the fence.
