Notes From The Prayer Warrior

Is the Prayer Warrior reading the Slog?

Dear Prayer Warrior,

First, I want to thank Josh Feit of the Stranger and King county executive Ron Simms [sic] for their debate last year. It has been a catalyst to jump start my initiative.

The second thing is to pray for the person who busted out my window at church yesterday. It seems that the homosexual community does not know how to practice what they preach when it comes to tolerance.

Pastor Hutch!!!

How does he know it was someone from the "homosexual community" who broke his window out? Did they say they are gay? But this is how these born agains opperate. Instill terror against one group which tolerates violence against that one group.

So it must have been his homosexual horse that stepped on his foot, eh ?

Damn gay horses....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but The Good Reverend's "church" is still Lake Washington High School's gym, yes? Should we not be more worried about The Children, whose venue for playing pickleball now has been compromised?

Is anyone at the ACLU or Equal Rights Washington filing a complaint with the IRS to get his church's tax-exempt status revoked?

If not, why not?

Seems like filing an initiative is a pretty clear violation of the law.

Good God.

And, no, we really can't tolerate you, Hutch. Tolerance is extended to those who practice it. You can't tolerate the intolerant. It's the tolerance deal breaker.

@9: It's being looked into.

He knows that it was someone gay based upon the ballistics of the throw. It was clearly a powerful underhand softball throw, the kind that only a lesbian can manage.

Dear Hutch - sorry, it was a straight god-fearing crack addict. Try not casting blame before you have all the facts.

#12 AHA!!! Those lesbians are at it again!!! (kidding)

@12: ahh, that explains. I couldn't imagine a gay man being able to accurately heave a brick through a window.

"Practice what they preach"?????

Um, the "homosexual community" aren't the ones preaching here, ya moron. You are, and didn't that dead guy you like so much advocate judging not others and doing to others as you would have done to you?

those who cast stones shouldn't live in glass churches.

#8: I'm guessing it was his car window, not the school's window. That would be nice.

Now, can we please fast-forward to the inevitable scandal that eventually sinks this guy?

Oops, meant to say breaking school windows WOULDN'T be nice. His car window I could car less about. Maybe some cold air on his face on the drive home will knock some sense into him.

HA! i love it when hate-mongers get all preachy about tolerence. I for one always give up my seat on the bus to elderly clan members.

Perhaps we are too hard on Hutch. Afterall he called Josh Feit by his name and not "that commie jew at the fag rag on Cap hill" or something worse. That couldn't have been easy for him and is a true example of his tolerence in action.

Oh benevolent Hutch, please help us rid ourselves of our irrational disdain for you and your flock. Just one little Haggerdesque misstep would go a long way to winning our hearts and minds. Please, please open thy closet and let thy skeletons spill fourth!!!

@15, my delight is sucking cock has not so far in any way negatively impacted my pitching ability. Not that I'd bother to give the good pastor another reason to indulge in his persecution complex. I'd lay good money on this being a stunt of his own invention, btw.

Is "busted out my window" a new euphemism for an otherwise unmentionable sex act? Was it good for you too, Hutchy?

Oh, little Kenny! When are you going to realize that God isn't on your side?

And you will know the vandalism of the gays by their designer bricks!

LOL

Maybe if hutch got a real church, they could have someone patrolling the lot looking for drag queens with bats. As it stands, it was probably some kid who goes to school at "Antioch"

But having that kind of infrastructure takes away from the tithing, and that tithing is what helps hutch live the high life - just as all the money they raise for this initiative will help him (hell, he's probably hoping he loses, so he'll have another Christian Victim cred, and will get to keep the money).

Anyway, I'm sure some idiot prayer warrior who read this little missive paid for Reverend dipshit's window.

What a life. Sucker enough suckers, and you only have to work on Sundays.
