Geez, if this is the best shot the GOP has on the D's this week, looks like the majority party will have an easy time of it. (If I were in Luke Esser's shoes, I'd be showing this example of lame around the state committee; could only help gather votes)

I say good on Diane. Keep up the good work. If that's all she can talk about- dissing the Dems instead of proposing things to propel the GOP state party forward, the R's will continue to remain in the wilderness. Maybe they can take some comments from the Prayer Warrior as well.

The REAL Democrat agenda is neatly summed up by SB 5022. It would give King County an additional sales tax, to spend on a viaduct or the floating bridge work. Never mind that no design has been chosen for either, and that the balance of the financing for the work will be overweighted towards sales taxes to begin with. Ken Jacobsen (the bill�s sponsor) also has zero idea what the impacts on his North Seattle constituents will end up being from either project. He just wants to slam all of King County with additional neverending sales taxes for either or both of whatever those projects turn out to be. What an asshat.

Voters at the ballot box have already repudiated the Republican's lack of vision and misplaced priorites in dealing with real problems.

Democrats are putting many ideas on the table in Olympia. If all the Republican Party can do is take a few bills out of many, not even know who introduced them, or if they even had been introduced, and still try to use them to falsely represent the larger Democratic Agenda, then it only reinforces the rightness of the voter's decision to vote Democratic in the first place.
