HPV Vaccine for Men?

posted by on January 30 at 9:04 AM

The New York Times has an interesting article today on the progress of trials for the HPV vaccine in men who have sex with men. (HPV can lead to anal cancer in men.) Apparently it’s hard to find gay virgins.

Finally. Also, the vaccine should be given to boys not just because they might end up having anal sex with men, but because they could pass it on to their female sex partners.

It won't be that hard. You just test it on the little boys that beg to wear skirts to kindergarten or who endlessly watch The Sound of Music.

And I quote from the NYT: "“The cervix is similar biologically to the anus, so there’s plenty of hope that it will work there also,” said Dr. Joel Palefsky, a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco."

The message from God is clear...

nobody should have sex, as it leads to disease.

The only people that should have sex are a biological male married to a biological female for the purpose of procreation. And just to make sure, science needs to step in with all the necessary tests to make sure they're both virgins and not carrying any "bugs".

since gay refers to male

virgin is hardly any badge of honor

of course, theories of virginity do not refer to sucking of/fondling of/other of - cousins while under 13 at extended family activities
