This is why she shouldn’t be President. She wants to sit down and have a nice little chat. We need decisive and visionary leadership.
i thoroughly enjoy reading blogs, but i still doubt their political power (at least in terms of carrying a candidate to election). a single blog's readership is nothing like that of, say, the new york times. it's smaller, obviously, and readers tend to be very like-minded.
there's a story: a howard dean or ned lamont (or stephanie pure) draws blog attention, and the readers' enthusiasm is self-amplifying. but as the stage widens, the candidate and his enthusiasts appear small, their focus limited. a more mainstream candidate, encouraged by mass-media, emerges victorious.
hey YGBKM: shut up. she's not having a "chat," she's answering questions from folks around the country - in real time... she's showing off her brain.
there are plenty of reasons why hillary maybe shouldn't be president, but this chat is not one of them.
@Eli....
I have asked this question, and have not recieved a satisfactory answer. WHY is Hillary a "establishment Democrat"?? She was elected to the Senate like 7 years ago?? How the hell does that make her a "distrustful establishment democrat" (I realize these are not your words, but the words of others so I am still using quotes). I was hoping you could provide insight into why people are using the term with her....
Is it simply the fact that she was first lady make her an "establishement"? Cause I am not buying it.
Just Curious...
Monique I have three letters for you.. "DLC". Look those up in Google and see why I am not jumping to drink the kool-aid quite yet.
