growing up in d.c., i used to love watching "les bullez" - juwan, webber and that affable giant muresan. though they never did that well, it was still fun to watch (from my jewish gf's box seats).

i hate the "wizards" - that name is worse than the canucks.

Sorry to let you down, man, but perhaps my Slogname is a bit too broad. I could not care less about the NBA or NHL. Or college football or basketball. Just the NFL and major league baseball, so if your Wizards beat the Bulls, I won't even read the story. But send your Redskins and Nationals my way, and we're on.

And by the by, the DC owners were damnfools not to name the relocated Expos the Greys. They'd've sold millions of caps and jerseys to folks with a soft spot for the old Negro Leagues. Instead, the Nationals? Fuck, what is this, 1880?

Alas... I couldn't care less about the NFL or major league baseball—or the NHL for that matter.
The NBA is the only sport I follow.
And the biggest mistake was renaming the Washington Bullets the Washington Wizards.

Yeah, the Wizards--as in the rank of someone in the Klan--is even worse than the bullets. I mean, bullets just mean something that goes fast, like a japanese train. Fucking sensitivities.
