Giuliani’s Secret Plan to Win the Presidency

posted by on January 2 at 10:20 AM

Is secret no more. Read all about it here and here.

Does Giuliani, now on his third wife and long a supporter of gay civil unions, really think he has a shot at the Republican nomination? Maybe not…

One page in the document, according to The News, notes that he might “drop out of [the] race” as a result of “insurmountable” personal and political concerns. On this page, The News says, is a list of bullet points that seem to highlight those concerns: His consulting practice; Mr. Kerik; Ms. Hanover; his third and current wife, Judith Nathan Giuliani; and “social issues,” apparently a reference to his support for abortion rights, gay civil unions and gun control, all of which are opposed by some Republicans.

“All will come out in worst light,” the document stated.

They will nominate the worst kind of right wing loon possible. The Dems will nominate a capable technocrat with negatice charisma. The loon will win.

There is no such thing as bad press. I bet this wasnt "leaked" as it was given so that there would be news on his candidacy, and would highlight some issues.

Random American: "Wow, it says here that Giuliani is pro-choice and thinks that gays should get rights. How moderate!"

Giuliani's aide: "You see, it puts our moderate issues in the spotlight while simultaneously making it so that you dont have to actually say anything. Then, when the Rebulicans are looking for the moderate president to win, you will be in their thoughts...."

Giuliani: "Hum, sounds good. Just make it look like a 'leak' ok?"

Noone will elect, in the primary, a thrice-married scandal-causing Republican.

They just lost the House and Senate over such things, ain't gonna happen.

Don't buy the Hype. They "said" Clinton would never be elected the first time.

There is no way in hay-ell that the right wing nuts that run the Rethuglican Party are going to allow Giuliani to be nominated. Nothing left to do there but pop some popcorn and watch the fireworks. And forget Romney and McCain, too; even they’re not anti-gay and racist enough.

My guess is that it will be Sam Brownback or Mike Huckabee.

He's got as much chance as Hillary does of being Pres - in other words, zilch.
