C'mon, Jen, quit being an apologist for those fag lovers. We all know how gay friendly the federal government is. You can't join the army unless you pound the recruiters in the ass, you can't get security clearance without showing your bathhouse membership card, and forget about tax breaks or receiving a federal pension if you're a filthy breeder. If the sex you have can result in babies, the feds want nothing to do with you. I know at least five or six people who got gangbanged by the crew from Falcon at the White Party last year just so they could be eligible to take the civil service exam.

The best part is his sad and pretentious commentary on his own "snapshot."

A photo by me. If you're going to take the "snap-shot" approach, make it look damn good, the world is already filled with bad snaps. As a photographer, I understand what pulls the veiwer back for another look. Coming over from the shadows at the top right, you'll cross the face again, aided by the color of the sunglasses. His position was carefuly chosen to create the right shadows. The sign was found at a flea market and is from pre-war Germany. Visually interesting, with strange text. Then the shadows at the lower right pull you back again. The image comes off as a quick snapshot, at first glance. Yet, it shares enough with the veiwer, and is of a technical quality that creates a mildly mesmerizing charm. Subtle, but there."

Nothing makes you look great by doing self comparison. Once I saw noted homosexual Michael Johnson walking down the street. Realizing my chance I yelled out "first one to the end of the block wins". Before he knew what was going on I lumbered past him at full speed, winning the race. That makes me, Giffy, the fastest man in the world. Yeah

Guy's got a point...the selected photos were awful.

Of course, it probably has less to do with homo-loving at the JUSFC, and more to do with cronyism and bad taste, but what are you gonna do?

The second guy he compared himself to was quite good, imo. The first one's pictures looked basically indistinguishable from amateur porn to me. And while I'm fine with that, I'd also rather not give $27,000 for it.

What a whiney little bitch. Poor guy, his work was not chosen among the hundreds or however many applicants. Is this what it has come to? Stay tuned for anonymous blogs of students whose applications are rejected from Universities or maybe I should start my own blog cause WAMU did not hire me over some other faggott. I think I'll start a website to showcase whiney bitches and sell it to yahoo or google in a few years.

The Maida photos were definitely technically better than Samashima's work, but they were still boring and derivative.

In fact, I'd give Sameshima the edge for being bad in a novel way.

Anyone who thinks photography is "art" is a fucking idiot anyway. Congratulations, you pressed a button on a camera. Now try actually CREATING something you no-talent hacks. These lazy bastards who can't pick up a fucking paintbrush get 27,000 dollars and meanwhile I'm surely going to have to step over fifty homeless people before I'm done walking through the Olympic Sculpture Park.

Speaking of which, HOORAY for SCULPTURES, more big things for hobos to piss on. This city is full of retards.

Domo, so if a person gets a degree at a prestigious business school it makes running a plantation with slaves okay? Bad work is bad work, it doesn't matter where these people went to school. This is some awful stuff. I'd never heard of the JUSFC before, but I do have some friends who would be interested in this. It's a strange world. Thanks Stranger! har har har.

Sharon Lockart, whom primarily does BOTH photography AND film, and did both during her stay in japan is NOT gay.
