That has got to be a Ween song.
Jeff Stryker was the epitome of the 80's gay porn star...smooth (or shaved), pretty (in a feminine way), big-dicked and ultimately boring.
There will probably never be gay porn as good as the Joe Gage films or anything involving Al Parker...mmmmm. It's been a continual devolution since the late 70's/early 80's.
I don't think Bruce V wrote for the last Academy Awards Show. I looked all over for an answer but wasn't able to find who it was.
Hm. I just saw him on the GLAAD Awards, and he made a crack about all the best "Brokeback" jokes getting cut from the broadcast, then hilariously asserted he was responsible for the joke of Crash ending up in the Best Picture winner envelope...
ooooh; i don't know who's grosser: bruce vilanch or jeff stryker.... i think stryker, the george hamilton of gay porn...i met him once at the CES in Vegas in 87? 88? (and have the photo to prove it)he's really, really short and not the brightest bulb in the socket...
Okay, okay, I'll admit that I though Jeff Stryker was way hot... 20 years ago.
But this is 2007. I can't imagine any reason why I would want to see his 40+ yo wrinkled sagging ass now, even if he can still get it up on command. Gross. Time to move on, Jeff.
the george hamilton of gay porn
Good description, though maybe a bit cruel.
As far as Jeff Stryker and gay porn go...Jeff really wasn't the problem. There would be no shaved, femmy, tweezed, big-dicked, sleep-inducing gay porn stars if there weren't lots of gay men buying it.
Nowadays, we've got all the niche markets...bears, twinks, leatherdaddies, and so on, but not much for fairly regular guys (see Joe Gage). Gay porn is all about the extremes these days...from the twinks (where you really have to wonder if they're "of age") to the leathery, gym-bunnied, protease-inhibitored (veiny, sunken cheeks, extended bellies) pseudo-masculine Castro queens.
Something for "everybody" it seems.
I like regular guys, for the most part. People I can relate to. Much sexier.
This is a great Blog!
