Jeff Stryker was the epitome of the 80's gay porn star...smooth (or shaved), pretty (in a feminine way), big-dicked and ultimately boring.

There will probably never be gay porn as good as the Joe Gage films or anything involving Al Parker...mmmmm. It's been a continual devolution since the late 70's/early 80's.

As far as Jeff Stryker and gay porn go...Jeff really wasn't the problem. There would be no shaved, femmy, tweezed, big-dicked, sleep-inducing gay porn stars if there weren't lots of gay men buying it.

Nowadays, we've got all the niche markets...bears, twinks, leatherdaddies, and so on, but not much for fairly regular guys (see Joe Gage). Gay porn is all about the extremes these days...from the twinks (where you really have to wonder if they're "of age") to the leathery, gym-bunnied, protease-inhibitored (veiny, sunken cheeks, extended bellies) pseudo-masculine Castro queens.
Something for "everybody" it seems.

I like regular guys, for the most part. People I can relate to. Much sexier.
