Simbia was paradise before US intervention turned it into the hell that it has become.
In the 19th century it was known for it's crystalline waters and biologically diverse mangroves. Now it's little but an airport, luxury resorts, and an economic zone in which most of the population is imprisoned to provide cheap labor for the US owned sweatshops that operate there.
The battle to free the Simbianese is thirty years old. Free the simbianese already, dammit!

@ #1,

I could not care less about the fascist insect that preys upon the people.

I just think Patricia was hot.

p.s. It's spelled Symbionese.

Awww come on, Amy Jo,

Skinny white 70s brunette girls (with heavy weapons to boot) are super foxy. This is like Susan Dey with a machine gun.

"Skinny white 70s brunette girls . . . are super foxy."

Ted Bundy sure thought so - all his victims had that look.

The old film Network has some good allusion to/parody of the whole Patty Hearst thing. I recommend checking it out.

Just to make it clear, to Josh or whomever, there is no Simbia. The Symbionese in SLA was for symbiosis that miracle of nature in which ants live in the hair of tigers and fish in the belly of whales and stuff.

Josh, I believe the insect preys on the WILL of the people.

Not the people themselves.

It's some sort of pcyonic attack, I think.
