When you said to me on Tuesday, "I'm going to an AA Meeting!" I was the most confused I had ever been. Now it is all clear!

Okay, so if I say I'm a gay white man, this basically gives away who I'm rotting for for Best Supporting Actress. And basically, you'd have to be dead inside to deny to her a trophy. Even if she makes a speech thanking God. (Which by the way, white people would do too if they could pull of looking earnest) Still, I'm glad someone shares my lovecrush on Rinko Kinkuchi. Where is this alleged Sundance footage?

I [heart] you, David Schamder. I am obsessed with the Oscars and appreciate that you are, too. Thank you!

I love Oscar time! I haven't even seen most of the movies nominated (yet!), but am seriously considering hosting a pantsuit-themed party (after all, ellen degeneres is hosting). Any other movie dork theme parties out there?

madeleines, for the proust scholar in little miss sunshine.

tamales, for the wedding party in babel.

irish soda bread for the departed.

nothing for the food shortages in letters from iwo jima.

tea and venison for the queen.

um, yuck.
