Comments on Who Will be 'Queer of the Year'?

I voted for Laurel Hester (not sure if I got the name right) but Mike Jones and Kim I. were my two second choices. Mike's winning anyway.

In the interest of a fair democratic election, you should also mention who the rest of these folks are.

I love the term Queer.

Despite all the good that Mike Jones' outing of Ted Haggard has done and the pleasure I take in seeing a deluded hypocrite like Haggard brought down, I am a man of principle. And one of those principals is this: Prostitutes don't get to out their clients, no matter what.

The more you have to lose, like Haggard, the more important it is to stand by the rule of confidentiality. It must be rock-solid, or the entire edifice of discretion and privacy that prostitution depends on crumbles.
