I tried to vote I can't figure out how. I've never visited that site before. I don't get it.

OK, my vote moved you past Victrola. But if you come up in the Finals against Squirrels, I am afraid it's going to ba a coin toss.

Ultimately, SLOG will lose to the Squirrels.

It won't let me vote, either. I only see results, no radio buttons. Stupid, stupid poll!

I'm with Elswinger--if it's Slog v. Squirrels, it's going to be tough...especially since the squirrels aren't in the position to campaign--not really a fair match.

Oh, man, this one is painful. Even considering the nasty-ass spatula. . . Victrola is where I discovered what coffee can BE.

But these days. . . well. If it were Vivace, I'd be all like, fuck you guys.

But, it's not, so GO SLOG!

Violet, I sympathize with you re: the spatula; that whisk is only slightly better, and it is only recently that they installed hooks so you could hang the damn things while you did your business. Despite this, Victrola as physical source of community spirit MUST win out over the virtual world of Slog! This is serious, people - can it even be said that Slog is on Capitol Hill?

Dan, if Slog beats out Victrola it's only delaying the inevitable because we all know that Squirrels will eat Slog's fucking lunch.

But Jude, while there is other good (better, IMHO) coffee on the Hill, there is no other decent source of local news! And comedy! Combined!

it feels amazing to have a herd of sheep at one's disposal! if only we could put them to more productive uses than online voting!
