Top Pot donut holes … They exist!

posted by on December 14 at 16:30 PM

From a confidential source: The dough boys and girls at the downtown Top Pot occasionally make donut holes, which the counter staff eat with cinnamon and sugar and do not share — even for a profit — with us longing consumers. Donut holes are almost as good as small, individually wrapped chocolates in their ability to make you feel like you’re not being as sinful as you actually are because you just ate 10 of them.

For a little bag of this kind of joy, I highly recommend the donut stand a few stalls past the newsstand as you enter the market at 1st and Pike. Lil mini doughnuts like holes in various flavors. You get 10 for about a $1.60. I am going there tomorrow...

We sell 'em at the downtown Whole Foods Market - we get a few sacks of them each day and they go pretty quickly - so be quick about it.
