onOpening today: APOCALYPTO! Whatever you think of the man or the movie, that title suggests the best wanna-B movie since Snakes on a Plane. Brendan Kiley’s take (bloodied thumb up!) is here. Behold:

If Mr. Gibson fails to put the ball through the ball-court ring with this film, will he be beheaded, or perhaps have his heart ripped out (in honor of the cultural inaccuracies in the film - giving him an mexica rather than a mayan end).
