Oh the horrors, getting hit on inappropriately by a man. *rolls eyes* Straight men like it as much as we do. Go figure.

A tip for you book collectors: if you ever see an autographed copy of a Ginsberg book where he signs it merely "Allen," that means he had sex with the person for whom he signed the book. Check out his "last" poem, "Love and Fame," published in the New Yorker after his death, for more on his predeliction for queering straight boys.

Correction: the last poem was "Death and Fame." Death, love, whatever.

Good for Ginsberg. He wasn't afraid to be a dirty old man.

At one time not too distantly in the past, the smaller club would have been comprised of the young men who hadn't been hit on by Ginsberg.

These days, what with all things being modern and hi-tech, the new notoriously dirty old man is Richard Stallman, of debatable fame in the Open Source software communities. If it has a pulse he's probably tried to grope it.

I have a "Collected Poems" with that same "Ah" with a circle around it from the '94 tour, except I got mine in Houston.

He told me the "Ah" was a mantra he was giving me.
