Notes From The Prayer Warrior

posted by on December 12 at 13:40 PM

Due to his sojourn in Latvia, the Prayer Warrior missed some of the Sea-Tac Christmas tree controversy. However, upon his return he fired off an email to supporters, and then followed up today with another note that shifts from the “War on Christmas” back to the war on the gays. Both emails below.

Yesterday:

Dear Prayer Warrior,

I just returned from Latvia, just to find all the Christmas trees removed from SEATAC. I would like you to send me an email of protest, requesting that the Christmas trees be returned. Tomorrow Rabbi Lapin and I are going in to see the Port of Seattle Commissioner, and will take all our emails with us. Send emails to pmays@abchurch.org.

It’s good to be back in Seattle…see you on Sunday!

Your Pastor,
Hutch

Today:

Dear Prayer Warrior,

A very big THANK YOU to all who responded with emails. Praise God, they had already made the decision to return the Christmas trees!

Final report from Latvia trip:

I am standing here with 1,400 signatures of support from 14 different nations: United States, Latvia, Finland, Denmark, India, Nigeria, England, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, and Germany. The signatures are on a declaration we wrote to stand for family values, religious freedom…it’s time for Christians to stand up and be counted as never before! If they stand with me with “Watchmen on the Wall,” pray that the same people will stand to make sure the Initiative is passed here to protect traditional marriages.

Pray for me as I get with the media to discuss this Initiative.

Your Pastor,
Hutch

How many signatures do you think a "Leave me the Fuck Alone" initiative would get? Someone should start passing one around and send it to the "Pastor".
I'd do it, but, uh, I'm busy and stuff...

I might be wrong, but Polish folks' signatures won't get that initiative any closer to the Washington state ballot, right? Or am I underestimating the power of prayer?

These people, with their ponderous, pretentious terminology ("Watchmen on the Wall") are attuned to the same dunmbshits who collect Franklin Mint and cry at things like "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition": Schmaltzy, over-wrought glurge, concoted for the lowest common denominator of the population.

Of course, the educated, enlightened people always have to sit around and wait for these retards to catch up with the rest of us. We're expected to be polite, lest be be accused of oppressing them, but more and more I say fuck it.

I'm all for ripping these dumbshits off with shady real estate deals, multi-level marketing scams, fake medical cures - everything else their simple-minded "religion" tells them to accept. Bilk them for all their worth, take away their economic power, corrupt their children, and wait for them to die off.

I think I'll start my own religion, and get in on the gravy train that all the rest of the "hutches" are on. It's not like you need any sort of accredidation, and there's very little overhead. Hell, what can it cost to rent a high school gym once a week?

Who's with me?

I'd like to see how many signatures he managed to get from the Danes, English, and Germans. One, two, half a dozen?

Um, TFVR, what do you think most of the preachers out there are already up to?

This is an old, old game and these folks have gotten very, very good at playing it...

...Until they get caught at any rate.

But, of course that doesn't ever seem to stop the gullible masses from taking the same bate over and over again.

With every email he sends, the delusion and self-importance ratchets up a notch. He's just one macro closeup photo of a flower from turning into a raving LiveJournal nutball.

WOW! 1400 signatures? He must think there are only 1500 people on Earth and a hundred of them are gay.

I'm still not conviced he actually went to Latavia. The experiences he's conveyed from this trip sound contrived.

I think he's been at home cruising the internet for free porn this whole time. Only pausing from his piston-wrist savagery long enough to send out these bulletins. Oh yeah, "Reverend", make that gay porn.
